Great first set of knives!

This is my first set of knives and I knew to go with this particular brand. They are good quality, they remain very sharp and last forever. It is a breeze to cut through fruit and vegetables. Especially those really hard squashes like butternut and spaghetti squash!

Snow Days and Shopping with CSN

Snow1

I never thought I’d see a snow day in El Paso of all places! This past week has been crazy with the below freezing temperatures. Really El Paso? The snow has kept me in the house cooking, eating, reading and playing video games ;). I feel for the kids that can’t go outside and play. If they had a wooden swing set, I’m sure it be a bit chilly to sit on. Good thing there are many more activities to find in the house to do. One of my favorite activities to do when I can’t go outside is being able to shop online! Recently I was contacted once again by CSN Stores to do a review of an item of my choice. I’ve spent hours browsing the kitchen and dining tab on their site. What will I order?

Maybe this Cuisinart ice cream maker?

Or Pyrex 4 piece bakeware set

Or a Le Creuset baking dish set.

Hmm decisions, decisions!

Leave me a comment telling me what you think I should order!

Almost 4 months later…

Knives1

Almost 4 months later, I finally received the Wusthof Silverpoint II Fourteen Piece Block Set ordered through CSN. It is a really long story on what happened but in the end I ended up with what I really wanted. It had nothing to do with CSN because their customer service reps were great. Sure I went around in circles a few time, but one of their reps named Cleveland was extremely helpful and finally solved my problem. Then I had an issue with my promo code not being the correct amount after my refund, and in the same day Samantha was able to provide me with the correct amount. They are a quick team and I was very grateful for that service.

My advice to my readers if you ever order something off of CSN, make SURE your item is in stock and not on a special order. Those special orders typically mean they are out of stock in the warehouse where ever they are coming from and you may never get them. Hence the 4 month wait and what happen to me. I was upset and annoyed, but I kept cool. In the end I ordered the next step up in my knives and I couldn’t be more excited. Yes, I had to put more money down but I know it will be worth it in the end. They are beautiful, strong and cut to precision. Their quality is top and will last me for a very long time.

I have a question for my readers, do you enjoy when I host a giveaway for CSN promo codes for money off your purchase? I was contacted again recently if I’d like to do a giveaway or a review. I’m a bit torn and wanted your opinion. I’d hate for what happen to me, to happen to one of my readers!

Always,

Fallon
